Living in Madrid

Madrid is a cosmopolitan city, a business centre and the seat of the Spain administration, Goverment and Parliament. The city of Madrid is renowed for its vibrant cultural and artistic activity, as well as for its thriving nightlife, with numerous pubs, café - theatresand discotheques taht stay open until late at night.

The city of Madrid is located right in the geographical centre of the Iberian Peninsula. It boasts a mild Mediterranean climate: cold and dry winters, humid springs and autumns, and very hot summers. The mountain range's proximity to Madrid turns the later into a privileged area in direct contact with Nature, with sky resorts you can enjoy in winter.

The metro is the quickest way to the get around the city. A large network connect the entire city. The single trip is €1,50. There are also MONTHLY SEASON TICKET or 10 journey ticket for €12,20

Over the last few year, prices have risen in Madrid so nowadays it is as expensive as other European big cities such as Paris , London or Rome.
